NAO PUTS SPECIAL WORKING MEASURES IN PLACE TO KEEP PROJECTS MOVING AND STAFF SAFE

The NAO puts special working measures in place to keep projects moving and staff safe

The National Authorising Office (NAO) has rolled out a new COVID-19 staff roster, which limits the number of staff in the office, to help decongest the office and keep staff safe, while maintaining work output.

According to the Director, Ambrose James: “Keeping staff and stakeholders safe while continuing to support the efforts of our contractors and partners, so that EU funded projects in Sierra Leone will continue to make progress is our current priority. To do so we are following government guidelines which will allow staff to maintain social distancing in the office.”

To further support home working, the administration has provided staff with the necessary equipment and resources to enable flexible working.
