NAO AND EU HAND OVER RESIDUAL ASSETS TO MTHE AND MBSSE FROM THE SUPPORT TO THE EDUCATION SECTOR IN SIERRA LEONE PROJECT

Yesterday 19th March at New England Ville, the Director National Authorising Office Ambrose James and his deputy Robert Ganda together with the Counsellor Team Leader Economy and Social Sector at the European Union in Sierra Leone Mario CAIVANO, handed over residual assets to Ministry of Higher and Technical Education (MTHE) and the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) from the “Support to the Education Sector in Sierra Leone project”.

The assets were used by the Programme Coordination and Compliance Unit (PCCU), and they included vehicles, motor bikes, office furniture and equipment. The transfer of these assets will complement the operations of both Ministries to achieve desired education outcomes and targets. The project was funded under the 11th European Development Fund.
