Today 9th May is EUROPE DAY. Together with the Honorable Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Madam Kenyeh Barley, the EU Ambassador in Sierra Leone, Manuel Müller and Team Europe, we launched the EU4You Bus Tour 2024.
Departing tomorrow 10th May 2024, the bus will visit Port Loko, Kambia, Makeni, Kono, Bo, Pujehun, Kenema, Kalaihun, Moyamba, and Waterloo. The tour will showcase Government of Sierra Leone – European Union development cooperation projects as well as other projects implemented by EU Member states. It will also be an opportunity to listen to beneficiaries of GoSL – EU development projects across the country, to better understand how these projects have impacted communities.

For Sierra Leone, it is day to showcase the longstanding and exemplary partnership between Government of Sierra Leone 
and the European Union . The EU remains a very strong and dependable partner and Sierra Leone has enjoyed our consistent political and development cooperation. For over 40 years the EU development cooperation has benefitted and continues to benefit the citizens of Sierra Leone for which we are grateful.
At the National Authorising Office (NAO), under the supervision of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development we continue to facilitate GOSL-EU development cooperation for the benefit of Sierra Leone.
