The BAFS team are currently in every region of Sierra Leone to sensitize stakeholders in the agriculture sector on the upcoming national comprehensive soil survey.
The survey is intended to fill the gap in knowledge of the status of the agroclimatic/agroecological zones land use, soil fertility, land suitability and water quality at the semi-detailed scale and ensure improved and sustained crop production in the face of climate change.
